If the surf or theme parks aren’t your thing then there are plenty of other options for you in and around the Gold Coast. At this time of year whale watching is very popular.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for many things including feeding these rainbow lorikeets. They have lots of other Australian native animals there too including koalas (which you may cuddle) and kangaroos.
